Chef Tamera Mixon is a Certified Chef with over 15 years of restaurant experience. Some of which includes; working as the Owner operator of TNT Restaurant and Cafe, Executive Chef at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Chef/Owner of "In the Mix" Personal Chef Services and Chef at the Famous Brown Hotel.
She's ServSafe Certified in food sanitation
& safety, a honors graduate from both South University in which she has earned her MBA in Business Administration and from the Art Institute of Atlanta were she earned a B.A. in Culinary Management.
She's a member of the American Culinary Federation (ACF) and always strives to be the best chef she can be by continuing her education and staying involved in her industry's trade associations and events.
Chef Tashia Surrey-Thomas has over 15 years of experience in the culinary arts industry. As an honors graduate of The Art Institute of Atlanta, Tashia acquired her B.A. in Culinary Management w/ a concentration in Baking and Pastry. In 2013 she returned to school and earned her MBA, n International Business Management.
Tashia is an ACF Certified Pastry Chef and a long standing active member of American Culinary Federation (ACF). Chef Surrey-Thomas is also a dedicated culinary instructor, sharing her expertise and passion on both the secondary and post-secondary levels. She teaches international cuisine, baking and Serve
Over the past 8 years as a Pastry Chef and owner of her own customized design cakes and cupcake business, Posh Atlanta Cakes has been afforded her the opportunity to work with honored chefs in some of Atlanta’s most prestigious venues and has been sought out by many of Atlanta's high profile clients.
